A water main break has occurred on Cyr Street, at the corner of Massicotte Street.
Update – March 20, 2026: Repair work is now complete. The addresses affected by the notice remain under a precautionary boil water advisory until further update.

🚱 Why a precautionary boil water advisory?
During the intervention, the water supply was shut off in an isolated sector to allow for the repair of the water main. This situation may result in a temporary risk of contamination, which is why a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued.
The precautionary boil water advisory will be lifted as soon as test results confirm that the water is safe to drink and meets current quality standards.
You will be notified via the automated Info Alert system, the municipal website, and the city’s Facebook page as soon as the advisory is lifted.

🚱 Instructions during a boil water advisory
Boil water for at least 1 minute or use bottled water before:
- Drinking
- Washing foods to be eaten raw
- Brushing your teeth
- Preparing baby bottles
- Giving water to pets
The boil water advisory will be lifted as soon as tests confirm the water is safe and meets quality standards.
🚰 Unless otherwise advised, tap water may still be used without boiling for:
- Showering or bathing (ensure children do not swallow water)
- Preparing foods that will be cooked
- Washing dishes with hot water and soap (dry thoroughly before use)
- Using the dishwasher (use the hot cycle)
- Washing clothes (use caution with whites if water is discolored)
